WTF ?!?!
Want to know what makes me say FREAKING FANTASTIC?
10am: Being in the shower, washing your hair, just lathered up real good, and the water goes out. OUT! OFF! KA-PUT! It doesn’t come back on. So I have to get out of the shower, soapy head and all, go into the kitchen where I have a gallon of bottled water and attempt to rinse my hair in the kitchen sink, all the while conserving the water. To say a string of foul words are coming out of my mouth is an understatement.
Barbie, my closest girlfriend, who lives only five houses down, called the housing office. Water will be out until 4:30 pm. FREAKING FANTASTIC!! Did they think to tell us? The residents? Umm… they conveniently forgot to notify us.
Just one of those little things that makes you realize you are going to have a crappy week. Hope your week is better! ![]()

Wow, are you in Yuma? Sounds like it, that happened all the time when we lived out there. Out here you can be online one second and offline the next. This morning that was happening, I called and CS told me that I could be offline for 12-24 hours. OUCH! Oh but I could upgrade my system so it wouldn’t hurt me. Yeah, more money in their pockets, I think not. It came back on but I can tell it’s about to go off again. ERRRR. Gotta love the military perks sometimes right? lol

That sucks. I’m sorry.
Look on the bright side- at least the house wasn’t on fire. Naked, soapy hair, no water…

Hey. If I comment twice, my name moves up on the top commenters list. I feel my competitive side coming out. . .
Cool site Toni.

Lovely. Hope you survived. Ugh. The worst part about not having water (well, once you rinsed off) is not being able to use the toilet.

You forgot to tell everyone that everyone’s tax dollars, including ours, help pay for our crappy housing office to not do their jobs. They suck!!

Oh, yes, the good old days in base housing. We bought our first house two years ago and we were so excited. No more unexpected outages of any kind, right?
The first day I was alone in our new house a squirrel hit a transformer and we were without elecricity for four hours.
The housing curse followed me.

This puts me in mind of an incident that happened at the Silver Legacy in Reno yesterday. Flour dust in the ducts in the bakery caught fire and the whole place was evacuated for almost two hours. A woman who was in the middle of a massage at the spa stood on the street with only a big white fluffy robe on and an ankle bracelet.
