Wordless Wednesday, D Day, Normandy Beach
Being An Air Force Wife is a about simply, being a military wife in todays world. Military wives take the 'unwritten' oath, to keep the home fires burning. When our troops are in the battle field, it's not always easy, it can be hair pulling at times, but this proud AF wife tries to find the humor in every situation.

Love that picture.

Thank you for this very strong remembrance of this day in history. We need to try to remember at what cost freedoms have been won and pictures like this do that so well.
My Mom was an Air Force wife for over 20 years which made me an Air Force brat for almost 17 years. I wouldn’t trade that experience for the world and I’m sure my Mom wouldn’t have either!
God bless you and your family - especially your husband as he serves our country.
Oh - and I was Air Force myself for five years!
