Being An Air Force Wife is a about simply, being a military wife in todays world. Military wives take the 'unwritten' oath, to keep the home fires burning. When our troops are in the battle field, it's not always easy, it can be hair pulling at times, but this proud AF wife tries to find the humor in every situation.

I love it! Mountain Dew - the universal thirst quencher.

Do the DEW in Qatar?
That’s so interesting. We don’t get Mountain Dew here in Holland.

Wow, now that is really neat. Never even thought of something so common here would be so different somewhere else. Well, the colors do help. Great WW post.

I love this! Culturally so different, and yet some things are the same the world over.

that is great!! When my dad would come back from being stationed away he’d always bring something cool with him. I remember one birthday he sent me a Smurfette doll from Korea, she wasn’t blue though, she was green!

Even thought I can’t read it, I know it’s a Mtn. Dew!!LOL!
That is a great souvenir.
Great WW photo!

Too funny. The things we acquire!

That is too cool! I love to collect old pop memorbilia. I have a coca-cola cooler that my grandma had when she was a young adult. It actually works better than any coolers we’ve bought since.

That is great! I love it!

That is so cool! And timely. I was just thinking this morning that I wish I’d brought a Diet Coke can home from Thailand. They were really cool too.

Nice!! I have a thought though. Are the terrorists who hate us drinking our soda? Can a mountain dew addict really hate the country bringing it to them?

Great post! We have a Coke can from China that we got on our adoption trip! We love it when people ask about it

Wouldn’t you believe it, our family is moving to Doha, Qatar in less than two months so my husband can work at the embassy there. It was fun for me (a definite Arabic novice) to sound out the name!
Thanks for the practice!

That’s really interesting. I remember at one point we were looking for Mountain Dew in NC… and all they had was Mellow Yellow (or something?). Funny you can get it in Qatar and not NC!

Love it! Thanks Toni.
