  4. Susan Helene Gottfried Says:

Aww. What a sweetie. And I totally agree about men who cook — not to mention that Fresh From the Shower smell. Yum!

    Happy TT!

  5. Crimson Wife Says:

    (((HUGS))) to you Toni. :)

  7. Sue Says:

I hope he returns to you soonly. I can only imagine how hard it must be at times. Beautiful list, and happy TT!

  8. Wylie Kinson Says:

Aw jeez — it’s amazing how the little everyday things go unnoticed when they ARE around. You just made me appreciate my work-from-home-always-around-and-under-my-feet hubby all the more. Thanks for opening my eyes (and giving me chuckle with #13!)

  9. tommiea Says:

great list….I wonder if I could limit it to just 13!

    thanks for visiting

  10. Babystepper Says:

Never had to experience a long-term separation, but I know his week-long business trips just leave me exhausted and wishing he’d come home.

  11. Thomma Lyn Says:

Hee hee, what a cute list! He sounds like a great hubs. :) And ohhhh, back scratching!!

Happy TT, and thanks for visiting my blog!

  12. Dana Says:

I know I am not the hubs (and after #13, I don’t want to be) but I told you I would cook you a mean steak on the grill. Just come on over!

  13. sasha Says:

You definitely miss the hubs ;)

    Happy T13!

  14. TeaMouse Says:

I’ll bet you could write a ton more too. How long is he gone for?

  15. Christine Says:

Your post made me realize that I sometimes forget to thank my husband for his assistance around the house. Sounds like you really miss him . . . how long until he’s home?

  16. No Cool Story Says:

    Aww, that was wonderful.
Pillow talk and bom chicka wahwah :)

  17. Robin Says:

I can’t even imagine how hard a long separation must be. Even when my husband’s away on reserve duty (here in Israel) he’s generally home every few days. Now that he’s one of the oldest guys in his unit and has more clout in making the schedule (aging out next year - hurray!) I often see more of him when he’s in reserves than I do when he’s working.

Thank you to your family for your sacrifice, and I hope your husband comes home safe and sound very soon.

  18. Mama's Moon Says:

Looks like great wifey-minds are thinking alike this Thursday eve! Have a great one, oh, and thanks for putting that little ditty into my head: “Bow chanka bow bow”…

I can see why you miss him so much. I pray he will be home soon, safe and sound. Then #13 can be a reality!!!!
Thanks for coming by my T13.

  22. Nancy Liedel Says:

Love my dog, but she sheds and my hussy does not. :)

  23. MommyBa Says:

Awwwww! I hope you could get to spend some time with him very soon :)

    Happy Thursday dear!

  24. Alasandra Says:

Awww, that is so sweet, you should send it to him or read it to him when he returns ;).

  31. dew Says:

That must be so hard. And I bet he misses you just as much!

  32. Darla Says:

{{{hugs}}} How long will he be gone?

That’s pretty similar to the things I miss about my husband when he’s on TDY or deployed, too. Ever notice how things like #2 never seem to need doing unless he’s gone??

  33. Christine d'Abo Says:

I hope he comes back soon! I love the fresh from the shower smell. Makes me all gooey. And my husband does most of the cooking in our house. I’m spoiled. :)

  34. JennieBoo Says:

#13 is the best….I agree, totally!

Hope he’s back soon. Hope this war is over soon so he won’t have to go back….

    Happy TT!

    Liked your list!

  35. Homemom3 Says:

Yep that’s a list I remember very well. Course right now I can list 13 things that tick me off about hubby. lol. That might be a fun thing. 13 things to do while he’s gone or something.

    Happy TT!

    (((HUGS)))

  36. Christine Says:

I’d be missing my husband like crazy too, if he left for that long.
He’ll be home before you know it.
I love the way my husband’s cologne lingers down the hallway after him.

    HUGS.
    Christine

  37. Jenny Says:

I’ve never had to be away from my hubby, but I would so miss him for most of those reasons too, especially #13. ;o)

Definitely a reminder of how much you both sacrifice for him to do what he’s doing.

    xoxo

  38. Hootin' Anni Says:

Oh man….this list brought tears! So sad to hear the times you miss! I love the fact that your hubby is supporting what he believes in tho….he should be commended and you should be so proud. I know you are!!

what a sweet list. And who doesnt miss the bow chicka bow bow? I miss the bow chicka bow bow sometimes

  43. Jenny Says:

What a nice list. My hubby commuted cross country for 20 months, but at least he was home on the weekend, can imagine some parts of your life right now.

BTW, the ads below your post are really funny, in a sad, pathetic way. All about dating and men withdrawing…

  44. Thomas Kingsley Troupe Says:

Sounds like he’s a lucky fella. What a great list!

Thanks for visiting my goofy blog and making it through my first TT attempt.

  45. Tink Says:

I was waiting for the last one all through the list! *lol* Now what does that say about me…? ;-)
Thanks for visiting my random TT!

  46. Luckyzmom Says:

There are just too many spots that are hard or impossible to scratch yourself.

  47. Frigga Says:

Hey, I just wanted to come by and let you know I posted the answers to the TT13 - Have You Ever! ~Frigga :)
