As an AF wife, I got a big kick out of this list. I also get to claim a past as an Army wife - and I’ve only been married once
Not sure if it’s possible in other countries, but our military members (Canada) can remuster from one branch of the service to another so I’ve been through AF and Army deployments (there are differences) over the years.

Those are awesome. Currently there are 5 members of my family who are military wives. I’m sending them this. They’ll love it.

Your TT is fun–but also very thought-provoking. In those few slogans there is a whole different world. Thank you for putting it out there.

First of all, thank your husband for all of us… especially those of us who are “out” of it… and secondly, reading this makes me glad I didn’t put my wife through these things! (I was long out of the mil before we hooked up.)
July 26th, 2007 at 8:07 pm

I’ve been checking those out too because we are an Army family facing our second deployment. This time 15 months long!
I love #1 the most. I would also add “I’m the real PT” and “R&R starts here” and for the kiddos “I’m the present daddy gave mommy when he came home for R&R”
