That’s so sad that so many people suffer from this type of cancer. Any type for that matter!
Thanks for keeping us informed!

Don’t forget the men! Only 1% of breast cancer patients are men, but it tends to be more aggressive in them.
Happy TT; hopefully one day we can eradicate this thing.

These are the most reassuring breast cancer facts I’ve read so far…at least you make it clear that with vigilance and diligence etc one CAN recover.
One of my friends is struggling with it now, so I was glad to read these statistics.

This is a really useful TT and a subject that cannot get enough press. Today’s news had a story about the leading drug not being effective for breast cancer. We all need to be proactive on this. And while I found #11 heartening, I found #8 to be discouraging. I hope that disparity changes soon.

Great list. It is one of those things that can be treated if you jump on it quickly. At least I think it can.

Just got my mammogram on Monday…hate the squishing, but I know it’s necessary.
The statistics on Black women are depressing, but I hope they will change with more education, better access to health care and positive strides in breast cancer research.
Thanks for an important, informative TT.

As you might remember, my dearest friend recently had a mastectomy. She was within moments of starting chemo when it was discovered that it had spread. Her doctor said we are not looking at months or decades, but years. So, we are praying for a miracle and welcome all.

Very timely TT.
