Surprise! and other stuff…
I have a surprise coming on Sunday! So definitely check back!
Did you hear the good news about the American bald eagle?
The American bald eagle is thriving after four decades on the endangered species list! Biologist have counted 10,000 mating pairs of bald eagles. The eagle population hit bottom in 1963 when only 417 mating pairs could be found in the United States.
Did you know that today in history:
1909: With Orville Wright at the controls, the first Army airplane began trial flights at Fort Myer, Va.

OK, it’s Saturday and I don’t see no surprises posted. And my grammar gets all messed up when I don’t see no surprises when surprises be promised.

Wow, could you send this post to the state of NJ? My parents’ house plans got put on hold because their proposed building site was too close to an eagles’ nest. When that excuse fell through, the state told them that it’s eagle foraging grounds. They meet in 2 weeks to find out if the eagles will have enough foraging room on the rest of their 90 acre property. This post just made me laugh - a lot.
